We formed Palumbo and Sweet, LLC in 2021 merging our existing practices of Sweet Legal Group, LLC and The Palumbo Law Office, LLC out of a desire to combine our efforts for clients. We're not another traditional law firm. Rather we wanted to focus on just helping clients with elder law and corresponding issues.
Our team is a group of people who like working together for our clients. We're proud of what we accomplish—giving our clients options and peace of mind when facing tough decisions about long-term care. And when it's time, we confidently help them through the eligibility process for public benefits.
Allan Sweet has worked his entire professional career focused on estate planning and asset protection. Jaclyn Palumbo practices with her motto "a personal lawyer for your personal matters."

Our colleagues in this area of the law work on cases for single and married couples. While we, too, help single individuals, we really concentrate on married couples because we find the issues facing them (along with the Medicaid rules themselves) are very different from those who are single. Spouses have worked for what they have and built a life around that. And we want to make sure when one spouse needs significant and costly care, the other spouse is as strong as possible financially. We advocate for the spouse who stays home—the spouse in the facility will be taken care of.
